WoodGreen is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Coordinator, Mentorship to join our team. As a key member of our Community Connections program, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating a high-quality, outcome-focused program that builds relations between recent immigrants and established volunteers.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement all activities and meet qualitative and quantitative outcomes per the annual work plan.
- Work with the Community Connections team to determine mentorship needs and coordinate mentor retention strategies.
- Provide service to newcomer clients in person and through e-services, ensuring all program goals, statistics, and outcomes are met.
- Assist with outreach to the business community, professional associations, and other places to attract potential mentors.
- Receive and review mentee applications, conduct in-depth interviews, and match mentees with mentors.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Work, Adult Education, or a related field.
- Minimum two years' experience in supporting newcomers to achieve goals in counselling, employment, or related environments.
- Experience in career coaching and providing guidance and support to clients seeking employment in various fields.
