Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Development: Develop and implement new programs and services to meet the needs of our community, including recreation, sports, and physical activities.
  • Event Planning: Coordinate and execute special events, such as festivals, workshops, and tournaments.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise professional staff, program leaders, and instructors to ensure the delivery of high-quality programs and services.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 1-6 months of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Urban area, recreational facility/institution.
  • Supervision: More than 20 people.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication, judgement, organized, team player.
