Sensor Operator at our
Halifax, NS base. We are seeking enthusiastic applicants who are interested in joining the
Airborne Maritime Surveillance Division (AMSD) supporting airborne maritime surveillance on a King Air and Dash 8 aircraft. A full comprehensive training and mentorship program will be provided.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a tactical picture, conduct inflight planning, and operate navigational sensors pertaining to target positioning on flight surveillance missions
- Operation of Electro-Optic/Infrared (EO/IR) sensors to detect and identify sea, air, and land contacts
- Compile and record information during flight surveillance missions
- Qualifications:
- Knowledge of electronic navigation
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Customer focused
- Proficient in the use of Windows based computer systems and programs
- Must be able to obtain required security clearances
