Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field with a focus on optics, or a Master’s degree with substantial industry experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in the design of free-space and integrated optical systems.
- Familiarity with software/hardware interfacing is advantageous.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Zeemax, Code V, or similar optical design software.
- Extensive experience with Matlab.
- Proven ability to establish laboratory setups for free space optical systems.
- In-depth knowledge of spectroscopy.
- Understanding of integrated optical system design principles.
- Experience with microfabrication processes is a plus.
