Department Overview
- The Regulatory Reporting Group (RRG) has operational oversight to ensure compliance standards are being met for numerous regulatory reporting mandates globally, on behalf of TDS.
- The team is responsible for maintaining BAU functions, delivering against Change Initiatives and driving efficiencies aimed at providing a robust, scalable and flexible infrastructure, whilst maintaining and managing the risk appetite.
- With more than 3,500 people in 13 offices around the world, TD Securities provides a wide range of capital market products and services to corporate, government and institutional clients who choose us for our knowledge, innovation and experience in the following key areas of finance:
- Investment and Corporate Banking

- Our services include the underwriting and distribution of new debt and equity issues, providing advice on strategic acquisitions and divestitures, and executing daily trading and investment needs.
- The position requires the selected individual to manage the regulatory reporting process, as well as liaising between multiple internal parties to analyze and resolve open items / issues and additional requirements impacting regulatory trade reporting, as they arise.
- Duties Include ensuring the team achieves the following:
- The position requires the selected individual to facilitate detailed requirement discussions across stakeholder groups and promote optimal testing plan/strategies as related to regulatory reporting change needs
- Able to formulate recommendations regarding delivery/implementation approaches to regulatory reporting initiatives
- Strong data analysis
- Facilitating meetings between multiple stakeholders and decision makers to ensure projects are appropriately tracked and delivered on time
- Define resolution plans with all stakeholders and ensure completion is achieved with agreed upon SLAs
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports to regulators and other entities, from a wide range of internal departments
- Provide progress reports to senior management, clearly stipulating constraints, dependencies and delays that may impact overall delivery
- Manage development of action plans pertaining to changes / additions to all regulatory requirements
- Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and automation of manual tasks
- Advanced data manipulation skills ability to investigate and derive findings/conclusions from large data sets
- Familiarity with Python and/or other data analytics tools is an asset
- Facilitate a smooth transition into BAU (e.g. ongoing processes exist, viable workarounds identified for any defects, handover of ownership)
Job Requirements
- Solid knowledge of Capital Markets and willingness to continue enhancing knowledge
- Solid knowledge of trade life cycle
- Prefer working knowledge of G20 regulations or background in a related regulatory field
- Strong relationship management skills required to handle both internal and external stakeholders
- Detailoriented with the ability to work independently with competing priorities in a fastpaced environment
- Experience with client data systems and processes is preferred
- Effective leadership skills in motivating a team to meet / exceed deliverables and promoting an environment for growth
- University Degree
