Job Title: Actuarial Analyst III Corporate Actuarial

We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Analyst III Corporate Actuarial to join our team at TD Bank. As a key member of our Corporate Actuarial department, you will play a critical role in supporting various projects related to liability valuation, strategic planning, capital and risk management for General Insurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and implementation of new actuarial techniques for determining reserves, capital, and financial projections.
  • Develop and maintain reusable tools, test new features, and ensure sufficient controls are in place.
  • Review and enhance current processes to maximize efficiency and optimize results.
  • Participate in various analyses, including profitability analysis of different segments of TD insurance portfolio and impact analysis of economic factors on future reserves.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the company, including Finance, Pricing, Reinsurance, Claims Operations, and Analytics & Modelling.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial science or other quantitative area of study.
  • Acquired or working towards Associateship with the Casualty Actuarial Society, Canadian Institute of Actuaries, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of Property & Casualty actuarial experience.
  • Experience in Corporate Actuarial is an asset.
