Job Description Summary:


Do you live and breathe photography? Are you looking to align yourself with an innovative, purpose-driven organization that supports life science research? As the Photography Assistant, you will report to the Art Director, Photography, responsible for photography file management, image retouching, and some independent photography, such as product and staff photos.


Additionally, you will assist the Art Director on set for larger photoshoots and events and coordinate models, waivers, equipment, and props for photoshoots.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensuring a high standard of visual execution across all photographic collateral
  • File management, image retouching, assisting the Art Director on set, and model, waiver, and prop coordination
  • Effectively collaborating with stakeholders and Creative Services team members to produce photographic collateral in stylistic adherence with the corporate brand, including photographing products, instruments, and staff photos
  • Supporting and contributing to a positive and creative work environment for the Creative Services team
Providing technical and artistic support to diverse corporate and scientific stakeholders in developing photographic collateral globally

Qualifications

  • Postsecondary Certificate or Diploma in a related field, or business with 1+ years of professional experience
  • Experience shooting environmental and studio portraits using available and/or studio lights; experience shooting events
  • Professional working experience with Camera and lighting operation, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Lightroom, and Photoshop
  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work under pressure, multitask and be willing to work as required to meet tight deadlines in a fastpaced work environment
