Someone to join our fantastic team of front-line supervisors who oversee supports to individuals and their teams; someone who is passionate about helping people realize their goals and have a great life; someone who will listen deeply and support the natural authority of individuals with disabilities and their families.

The Manager position involves working a combination of direct support to individuals and administrative shifts.

Duties and responsibilities

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Work with teams to understand and facilitate the person's goals and vision of a good life, in the areas of employment, building networks and friendships, inclusion, learning, and promoting independence.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to direct support staff; support the growth and development of direct support staff.
  • Liaise with multiple stakeholders, including families, professional supports, employers (current or potential), and others related to the person's goals.
  • Organize and lead weekly checkin meetings and quarterly planning meetings
  • Support the monitoring and reporting of service quality according to established standards.
  • Build and maintain a strong team of supporters; promote an open and collaborative team.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to learning and continuous quality improvement through effective problemsolving, debriefing, goalsetting, and reporting on progress.

Preferred Training or Experience

Qualifications:

  • Passionate and knowledgeable of, and experience with, employment for people with disabilities
  • Experience with a case management approach
  • Previous leadership experience required
  • Degree or diploma in a related field, or a combination of related training and experience
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Understanding of community living and issues facing people with disabilities and their families
  • Professional or lived experience as part of a network of people working toward a common goal
  • Knowledge of traumainformed practice
  • Completion of first aid and criminal record search as a condition of employment

Specific Training or Experience Required

Expected Hours of Work
30-40 hours per week. May include an evening or weekend shift.

$27.35-$30.15 per hour
