Position Description
The Experiential Education Administrator supports the delivery of CWF’s experiential education program by providing logistical and administrative support. This includes coordinating program data, maintaining participant records, providing logistical support for events, executing financial processes, and fielding inquiries from the general public. The position also helps develop and curate educational content for distribution through CWF’s communication channels (website, email newsletters, blogs, social media, etc.). This position requires a high attention to detail and level of organization, experience with data management, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. This is an entry level position.

Key Responsibilities
Program Supports:
  • Help develop and curate content for monthly education email newsletters and other communications channels in alignment with annual education content calendar.
  • Support delivery and follow-up for virtual and in-person events and workshops, including tracking registration, sending information out to participants, processing event data and forms, and sending follow-up emails.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service by responding to general program inquiries in a timely fashion.
  • Support quarterly reporting and program evaluation through data tracking and analysis, as well as maintenance of program participant records.
  • Work with Finance department to reconcile monthly sales, process invoices and issue honorariums.
  • Work with the Marketing and Communications department to ensure program webpages and event listings are up to date.
Logistic Supports:
  • Provide logistical support for program activities, including scheduling, venue coordination, and resources management.
  • Work with Operations department to coordinate shipments of program materials to partners and facilitators.
  • Liaise with guest speakers and presenters for events and workshops regarding event logistics (scheduling, tech support, etc).

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
  • Diploma in Administration, Environmental Education, or Communications
  • 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience with data management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative to complete tasks
Assets:
  • Bilingual in English/French
  • Experience creating content for newsletters, social media, etc.
  • Experience providing logistical support for events or programs
