The Community Addiction Peer Support Association (CAPSA) is dedicated to enhancing training, research, and community engagement through collaboration with service providers, policymakers, employers, and academic institutions. Our approach integrates practical, scientific, and experiential knowledge, spearheaded by experts in systemic stigma with diverse backgrounds in education, research, clinical practice, and policy.
We are in search of a motivated and proficient Bilingual Education and Training Coordinator to join our team. This role involves working closely with community organizations and corporate partners to design and execute impactful programs and initiatives focused on education and training.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver educational programs and training sessions to various organizations and groups.
2. Assess and continuously enhance program content and delivery methods to maximize effectiveness and engagement.
3. Collaborate in the creation of new training materials alongside leadership and CAPSA staff.
4. Partner on projects and co-design events with partner organizations.
5. Ensure coordination of education and training activities by liaising with all team members.
6. Engage key CAPSA team members in projects as necessary.
7. Identify and pursue new opportunities to address the needs of partners, stakeholders, and healthcare/private systems.
8. Monitor and evaluate project progress, identify potential risks, and implement strategies to ensure successful initiative delivery.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field or a combination of education and experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English, with outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal).
