Position Overview

The University of Ottawa is seeking a qualified individual to instruct the PDP1220 Special Education, part I course. This role requires a deep understanding of special education principles and practices.

Qualifications Required:

  • Master's degree in education.
  • Specialist qualification in Special Education.
  • Recent full-time teaching experience or administrative experience within a School Board.
  • A minimum of two years of experience implementing the Ontario Curriculum in Special Education.
  • Updated qualifications in Special Education.
  • Ability to apply the Ethical Standards and the Standards of Practice of the Teaching Profession.

The University may consider equivalent experience or qualifications.

Course Overview:

This course will cover:
