Employment Status Full Time Employment Type Regular Job Summary Supports teaching and learning by providing support and guidance on the use and integration of education technology, as well as the use of multimedia instructional resources in face to face or online learning. Provides training on various educational technologies, Microsoft 365 and media tools used for creating instructional resources. Acts as support and back-up personnel for the daily operation of the Learning Management System. Specific Duties Project Lead/Multimedia Production
• Lead and support educational technology projects aimed at enhancing teaching and learning experiences.
• Provide guidance and direction to project teams focused on educational technology initiatives.
• Ensure the quality and effectiveness of educational technology materials used for various college projects.
• Manage timelines and resources for educational technology projects.
• Collaborate with faculty in developing instructional materials, offering guidance and expertise.
• Produce multimedia specifically tailored for instructional purposes.
• Edit and process video and other visual media to support educational goals.
• Produce and edit audio media to complement educational materials.
• Maintain a digital media repository optimized for educational purposes.
• Provide support to faculty who are developing online or multimedia resources.

Learning Management Systems (Support and Back-Up for LMS Administrator):
With guidance from the LMS Administrator:
• Provides daily support and backup in developing and maintaining a Learning Management System that meets all regulatory compliance needs and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Create and manage course shells, transfer course materials, and assist with student access and technical difficulties.
• Creates/publishes archives, add/deletes resources, monitor accounts and bulk uploading of class lists.
• Facilitate password resets passwords, monitor system parameters and user accounts.
• Administer security roles and access levels to safeguard educational content.
• Track update and revise course master shells within the LMS, including assessments.
• Provide technical support to faculty developing online or multimedia resources.
• Maintain courses delivered through learning management systems.
• Provide support for faculty with educational technology and LMS integration

Technology
• Assist and explain to operational employees, administrative employees and faculty employees the use of software applications and learning management systems used by the college
Provides ongoing technical support to the learning management system and its users
• Provide support, training and resources for the use and integration of Microsoft 365 tools in face-to-face and online learning environments. Demonstrate in a presentation how a software program works, create step by step guides for working with software

Operational Support
• Provide relief support for basic office operations (e.g. email monitoring) when the admin assistant is absent.
• Provide project support on an as needed basis for office initiatives. (e.g. Maydays, CTL Sharepoint and website)
• You will be part of a team actively engaged in contributing to and accomplishing the vision, mission, and goals of the College and in supporting the aspirations and needs of our learners and communities.
• You will promote a positive work atmosphere and communicating in a professional manner that demonstrates mutual respect with students and colleagues.
• Other duties as assigned. Skills & Qualifications • Recognized two (2 ) year diploma in Technology or related field of study .
• Three years or more of related experience, of which includes at least one year of recent and related experience in educational technology.

• Experience coordinating projects with a proven ability to establish priorities, identify tasks, coordinate the activities of project participants and report on the status of a project.
• Knowledge of the curriculum design process preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge in online course management and delivery systems, web browsers, and other education applications.
• Training or demonstrated skills/knowledge in the area of web-based programming, such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScripting, jQuery, screen capture applications, accessibility standards and analytics.
• Specialized expertise or interest in one or more areas of innovation in Educational Technology such as VR/AR, AI, Adaptive Assessment or Learning, etc.
• Knowledge of, and demonstrated commitment to, maintaining currency in a wide variety of office productivity (e.g. Word, Excel, Access, etc.) and educational software applications with the ability to make informed and competent decisions related to software applications.
• Demonstrated ability to model high quality, customer service orientation in all client interactions (internal and external). Helpdesk/client support and triage/technical problem-solving ability.
• Must be a team player, with the demonstrated ability to work in the dual role of team participant and team leader.
• Effective training and presentation skills with ability to train adult learners.
• Demonstrated ability to research, summarize, and present clear and concise data to answer specific questions.
