Training Content Developer (Remote within Canada)

Reporting to the Vice President of Client Success the key focus of the Training Content Developer is to ensure that Multiview provides quality training for customers and internal users based on best practices. The successful candidate will collaborate with various subject matter experts to develop individualized and group training plans to meet established business requirements.

This role is suited to an individual who has supported teams with the design and delivery of customized training plans and training. Combining their knowledge of the business with the practical application of their understanding of adult learning principles and best practices will make them an ideal candidate.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Prepare and design quality training to be available for clients and internal users based on adult learning principles and best practices (self-paced and instructor-led options), with a primary focus on clients.
  • Consistently incorporate training techniques that keep learners engaged and perform ongoing analysis to determine effectiveness of training through course surveys and LMS analytics.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather training requirements, input, and updates using excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Professional experience using training software in an ERP setting, for example, content authoring tools, Learning Management Systems, video production tools, and instructor-led formats.
  • Promote and enable the use and adoption of self-paced training to support ongoing customer learning.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for improvements to the training program.
  • Develop and maintain expertise and knowledge of the end-to-end solution and product value outcomes to ensure this is reflected in the training program.

COMPETENCIES PORTFOLIO:


  • Technical Skills– Strong in-depth knowledge of contracting frameworks and an understanding of Multiview's operations is required to perform the role competently. The incumbent must be comfortable explaining and teaching technical terms and concepts to others. Understanding Multiview's operations is gained through in-role training and extensive on-the-job experience.
  • Problem-solving– Proactive in anticipating and resolving problems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop solutions are required.
  • Initiative– Seeks, accepts, and completes new tasks using own initiative; works independently with little supervision.
  • Communication– The ideal candidate will be a skilled written and verbal communicator and can address different audiences using appropriate language to communicate their meaning clearly and efficiently, including on challenging topics.
  • Interpersonal Skills–Ability to effectively coach, train, communicate and work with colleagues internally, and clients and external counsel externally.
  • Organization– Ability to handle multiple deliverables simultaneously to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks to ensure a smooth prospect and client experience.
  • Teamwork– works with multiple teams cross-functionally and must know how to effectively address the needs of each team while always keeping the client's outcomes as the primary objective.

YOU ARE SOMEONE WHO HAS:


  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field of study (preferred).
  • Previous client-facing training experience, preferably in the software industry.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, particularly as it relates to explaining both simple and complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning concepts/theories, training development techniques, and best practices.
  • Knowledge in accreditation-based training and implementation would be considered a strong asset.
  • Working and managing a learning management system would be considered an asset.
  • Strong software & technology aptitude and literacy, preferably with ERP software.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Experience working on a multi resource project team balancing milestones and objectives efficiently and on time deliverables.
  • Ability to thrive in a high paced, complex team environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products and other teleconferencing solutions (i.e. Zoom, WebEx, etc.)

WHAT WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE


  • 3+ year experience in Software as a Service company is considered an asset.
  • United States healthcare experience is considered an asset.
