Following the Panel Meeting Phase: • Critically review and evaluate material to ensure all necessary content is provided in the report and ensure the report(s) align with the Panel's recommendations, including outlining areas that are non-consensual.• Ensure the report(s) are accurate and meet standards for English grammar as set out in the Canadian Press Caps and Spelling and the Canadian Oxford Dictionary• Work with panel members to ensure recommendations discussed in meetings are identified and captured in the written recommendations to the Minister.• Provide a draft of the report and written recommendations to the Panel members for review and feedback, in an effective and efficient manner. This includes editing and updating the report(s), when needed.

Proposal Submission Requirements The appropriate candidate should have the following qualifications:• A university degree preferably in a related discipline such as bachelor's degree in English, journalism, public relations, political science, communications, or creative writing.• Superior knowledge of proper English grammar, punctuation, usage, and formatting, as well as appropriate Canadian Press, plain language, and Government of Alberta styles.• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze and synthesize information while editing and writing documents.• Strong organizational skills, including ability to prioritize workload to meet Panel needs and department's deadlines.• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a history of approachability, tact, and political sensitivity.• Ability to work as a team player with minimal supervision.• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint is an asset.Please note that the meetings will either be in person, virtual, or some combination of the two depending on what the Panel members decide.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $70.00-$75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
