The Aerostructure Market of Héroux-Devtek focuses on a complete line of precision machined structural components and assemblies, from simple aluminum parts to large monolithic five-axis complex components.
Summary of position:The Program Manager leads, manages and safely executes the goals of the value stream, from start to finish within the internal framework of operations.
This includes customer interactions, managing contract administration, buying and planning for production, and coordinating production resources. The focus will be on generating customer value, facilitating value stream flow and pull, and engaging in continuous improvement.
This position reports directly to the Plant Manager.
Salary: $96,000/year
Scope of work: Oversight of a single value stream (product line) within the context of organizational operations. (Governed by Section 8. of AS9100)
• Production Planning and Control
• Risk Management
• Primary point of contact for customer service and communication
• Receipt and management of customer contracts
• Review of product and service design and development
• Change/Configuration Control
• Controlling externally provided processes, products and services
• Coordination of production resources within the value stream
• OTD and quality deliveries to the customer
In a lean and flexible facility all employees will be expected to contribute in facets other than their primary function. For this reason, it must be understood that additional requirements may be assigned and supported from time to time.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Post-secondary education in a related field.
• PMP designation an asset
• Lean and CI training and experience
WORK EXPERINCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Program management / Value stream leader experience
• Contract administration experience
• Experience in the Aerospace industry an asset
