Scarborough, Canada CEE Centre for Young Black Professionals Full time

**Main Purpose of the Job**:
The CEE Program Lead is energetic, solution focused and skilled in facilitation and administration. Their core responsibilities will focus in implementing program workplan and schedule, facilitation with a focus on CEE Essentials (CEE soft skill workshops), participant management, and reporting. They will report to the Industry Officer and Program Manager, and work as part of an integrated programs, social support, and Job developer team.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Program Delivery and Facilitation _
- Developing and implementation of program workplan, schedule and curriculum.
- Book, schedule and conduct interviews in collaboration with outreach coordinator to select final cohort.
- Primary facilitator for Meet and Greet, Retreat, Graduation and CEE essential related sessions.
- Monitoring participants engagement including attendance and participation.
- Distribution of resources including gift cards, programs materials to members on a week-by-week basis.
- Creating PowerPoint presentations, sessions and workshops as required.
- Work in tandem with the program Social Worker and Job Developer to support youth facing crisis.
- Conducting ongoing data collection, programs evaluation and reporting for internal and external use.
- Stewarding relationship with facilitators by sharing links, member information, and program details on a week-by-week basis.
- Ability to communicate and mentor youth and foster their involvement and participation in program interest and participation.
- Provide timely assistance in administrative functions such as program documentations, external and internal reporting and communications, participant files and information, program evaluation and tracking.

- Maintain proper program procedures and paperwork by ensuring ethical guidelines, participant protection, risk management and other related policies and procedures in place by CEE.
- Market the program to referring agencies, the wider community and the general public to ensure outcomes reflect our expected agreement deliverables
- Assist in workplan and curriculum development.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the effectiveness of programming
- Community Engagement: All members of the CEE team are expected to be accessible to the community, be present at community events when required and serve as ambassadors for CEE.

**Qualifications**
- A minimum of 1 years of experience in delivering career training programs, adult education, workshop design and facilitation.
- Post-secondary degree in a field relevant to social services, adult education and/or community development.
- Strong administration skills with the ability to organize, deliver, track and report on multiple programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in skills training and workshop design and facilitation.
- Knowledge and experience of working within an anti-oppression and anti-racist framework.
- Have a personal and professional interest in teaching equity, inclusion, and social justice issues to youth and adults.
- Direct experience in delivering services to individuals facing multiple barriers including conflict with the law, substance abuse, mental health, insecure housing, trauma, childcare issues.
- Significant experience managing risk, exercising judgment, and supporting clients in crisis situations in a complex, high needs environment.
- Respectful and accommodating.
- Experience in marketing events and recruiting participants for programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Salesforce and Asana an asset.
- Commitment to the values and mission of CEE.
- Access to a motor vehicle considered an asset.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$53,000.00 per year
