Job Description:

Gillfor Distribution is seeking a full-time, highly motivated, and experienced Inside Sales Representative for our Bolton Ontario region. The Gillfor Sales Rep will champion all product lines and be responsible for maintaining and developing existing customer accounts, promoting manufacturer's programs and sourcing new opportunities for business development and revenue growth in the respective region. This position reports to the Bolton location Division Manager.

Role Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License with a clean abstract
  • Access to own vehicle for transportation
  • Previous sales experience is an asset

Key Qualifications:

  • Excellent working knowledge of word processors, spreadsheets, and ability to learn new tools
  • Familiarity and knowledge of the building supply industry
  • Solid team player who aggressively looks for opportunities to increase sales
  • Highly self-motivated and is target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communicating, problem solving and negotiating skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills are a must
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to execute market pull-through activities
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum of two years' experience or more as a sales representative strongly preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Building supply industry experience is an asset
