Randstad is excited to partner with one of our reputable clients in their search for a talented Municipal Engineer, who will have experience working within a wide range of Municipal Infrastructure projects in Ontario. This position requires someone who has their P.Eng license.

***This position is located in Vaughan, ON and requires someone who is open to work in the office five days a week. This position will allow the opportunity to grow and develop into a Lead / Management position, hence the reasoning for the position being full-time in office***

Responsibilities
⢠Oversee the delivery of the technical milestones and phases of the project
⢠Manage the budgets and deadlines for the project
⢠Design of public sector municipal servicing projects
⢠Design and project execution for municipal infrastructure projects including: watermain, sewers, retaining
walls, pumping stations, road design
⢠Review design drawings
⢠Manage the development of contract specifications and documentation;
⢠Review and analyze project schedules for activities
⢠Provide input to the preparation of proposals, project cost estimates, and budgets in collaboration with the
Senior Management
⢠Liaise with the various municipal/utility/approval agencies
⢠Author feasibility studies and technical engineering reports;

Qualifications
⢠Undergraduate Degree in Civil Engineering
⢠Minimum of 6 years of municipal infrastructure experience
⢠Registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario
⢠Experience working as a Design Engineer
⢠Knowledge and application of Ontario Provincial Standards and Specifications
⢠Knowledge of municipal and provincial approval processes
⢠Experience with watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, forcemain, grading plans and drainage design
projects

***Consideried an asset but not required***:

⢠Trenchless infrastructure design
⢠Project Management experience on municipal and/or private sector projects
⢠Knowledge and experience with Contract Administration and/or Pumping Station Design
