Title - Regional Sales Representative

Our client, with almost 100 years of industry experience, is a well known player in the logistics industry. They are looking to add a new member to their outside sales team with a heavy focus on increasing their brand presence in BC, but are open to other territories as well

Advantages
* Base Salary 65K - 75K plus commissions
* Vacations 3 weeks (can negotiate depending on experience)

Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities
* Effective negotiation and account prospecting skills, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
* The ability to identify customer needs and offer customized solutions, along with creative problem-solving skills
* Present rates to prospective clients; complete/submit rate requests and negotiate related service pricing contracts
* Prepare and present sales reports and forecasting to the management.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities

Qualifications
* Must have Logistics Sales and / or operations experience
* Air Freight experience is a HUGE asset
* Strong knowledge of transportation logistics and supply chain management
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
