The Manager, Process & Performance Improvement is a member of the Engineering Excellence team, responsible for establishing a fit-for-purpose engineering work process, with a focus on continuous improvement and meeting required governance.

Overseeing the development of design work processes and applicable procedures, ensuring that engineering activities are performed in accordance with approved policies, standards, programs, procedures, and applicable rules, regulations, codes, and standards.
Supporting governance and oversight to ensure project consistency in organizational alignment, processes, and procedures.
Developing and implementing a continuous improvement framework that fosters a culture of learning, innovation, and performance enhancement.
Leveraging advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making to optimize engineering workflows.
Identifying automation and digital transformation initiatives to increase the speed and accuracy of engineering processes.
Conducting regular performance assessments and process benchmarking to ensure best practices and industry standards are implemented.
Interfacing with all process stakeholders, including Engineering, Project Delivery, Quality Assurance, and the Office of the Chief Engineer.

University Degree or College Diploma in engineering, or equivalent field of study.
Ten (10) years’ experience (minimum) working in a project delivery environment, including 3 years in a process improvement role.
Licensed Professional Engineer in a Province of Canada, member in good standing, is an asset.
Project Management Professional (PMP) is an asset.
Ability to analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Working knowledge in Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Agile methodologies is an asset.
Strong leadership skills, with an ability to manage and implement change effectively within a well-established, mature organization.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Tech savvy in enterprise and commercial applications.
Proven track record of performance in a dynamic, project delivery environment is an asset.
