Boeing Canada Operations Ltd . is seeking Aircraft Mechanic , reporting to the Senior Maintenance Manager and Chief mechanic working out of the Petawawa facility. The Aircraft Mechanic will to join the existing team of mechanics supporting the CH47 Phase Inspections in support of our customer, 450 THS, Canadian Airforce.
Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul. Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).
Oversees training. 4+ years of aircraft maintenance experience required, preferred on CH47 platform
Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA), Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), Avionics Technician (AME-E) licensed or Military equivalent
Must consent to Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment
Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data
Have successfully completed a formal, CH147 type training course related to their aviation specialty taught by an acceptable training organization
High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
