Aerospace Maintenance Technician

Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Aerospace Maintenance Technician to join our team at Staremployment. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and enhancement of aircraft systems. Your mechanical expertise will be essential in the fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of various aircraft components. This position demands a keen eye for detail, proficiency in Avionics, and familiarity with AutoCAD, alongside the physical capability to handle demanding tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify that all replacement components are inspected, certified, and suitable for installation;
- Ensure that removed components are correctly tagged and placed in quarantine;
- Guarantee that all work performed on any aircraft or component adheres to:
- The manufacturer's recommended standards;
- Relevant aviation regulations;
- Company policies and procedures;
- Accountable for signing off on the completion of own work on relevant documentation and ensuring accuracy in records as per company guidelines;
- Assist in the training and development of team members;
- Conduct Independent Checks when authorized in accordance with company protocols;
- Perform Receiving Inspections when authorized in accordance with company protocols;
- Maintain valid training certifications at all times;
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by supervisors;
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid TCCA AME license in a recognized discipline, along with relevant experience and aircraft type training;
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience;
- Experience with commercial or military aircraft;
- Experience in Line Maintenance within a fast-paced environment is preferred;
- Position requires Level II Clearance with the Canadian Government and the ability to access the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary Range: $50,196.00-$53,492.00 annually
