KASI Aviation Services Inc, a division of HEXAGON, is a leading provider of airborne Lidar and Bathymetric survey operations in North America and the Caribbean Islands. Our company operates a fleet of aircraft and is seeking a skilled Aircraft Technician to join our team.
Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and solution-oriented Aircraft Technician to perform line maintenance, travel to meet aircraft and pilot for on-field maintenance events, and conduct preventative maintenance on aircraft systems. The ideal candidate will have a Transport Canada AME license (M1), valid passport, driver's license, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the maintenance of civil or military aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform line maintenance on aircraft systems
- Travel to meet aircraft and pilot for on-field maintenance events
- Conduct preventative maintenance on aircraft systems, replacing parts and documenting work done
- Communicate snags, issues, and observations to the PRM
- Help coordinate planned maintenance events with the base of operations
- Manage inventory, parts requests, and job cards from on-site locations
Requirements
- Transport Canada AME license (M1)
- Valid passport
- Driver's license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in aircraft maintenance
- Adaptable, good organizational skills, attention to detail
- Team-player
- Resourceful and autonomous
- Strong English language skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a hangar
- Experience with Piper aircraft
- Experience with TIO-540 engines
- Bilingual French and English
