KASI Aviation Services Inc, a division of HEXAGON, is a leading provider of airborne Lidar and Bathymetric survey operations in North America and the Caribbean Islands. Our company operates a fleet of aircraft and is seeking a skilled Aircraft Technician to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and solution-oriented Aircraft Technician to perform line maintenance, travel to meet aircraft and pilot for on-field maintenance events, and conduct preventative maintenance on aircraft systems. The ideal candidate will have a Transport Canada AME license (M1), valid passport, driver's license, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the maintenance of civil or military aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform line maintenance on aircraft systems
  • Travel to meet aircraft and pilot for on-field maintenance events
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on aircraft systems, replacing parts and documenting work done
  • Communicate snags, issues, and observations to the PRM
  • Help coordinate planned maintenance events with the base of operations
  • Manage inventory, parts requests, and job cards from on-site locations

Requirements

  • Transport Canada AME license (M1)
  • Valid passport
  • Driver's license
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in aircraft maintenance
  • Adaptable, good organizational skills, attention to detail
  • Team-player
  • Resourceful and autonomous
  • Strong English language skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a hangar
  • Experience with Piper aircraft
  • Experience with TIO-540 engines
  • Bilingual French and English
