Spark Power, a trusted partner in energy in North America, is looking for a Wind Operations Manager – Major Components to join our renewables team. The Wind Operations Manager – Major Components acts as the primary point of contact for asset manager and project managers to support with customer inquiries, maintain customer relationships, supports the management of projects, ensures budgets, margins, and timelines are met, and personnel resources are available. In this role, the Wind Operations Manager – Major Components will manage and oversee contracts, develop details and specifications for project, find opportunities to quote, and review quotes with the correct use of the quote review process. The Wind Operations Manager – Major Components will also have significant contact with customers to communicate any changes to projects or work being performed, answer customer questions directly, conduct research as necessary, or refer them to a subject matter expert and obtain feedback to determine satisfaction level of customer.
Manage business unit P&L, prepare budgets, and issue targets. Asset Manager / Project Manager meeting) and monthly Safety Meeting with entire team
Ensuring invoicing is approved and distributed to customers and review A/R & support in collections where needed.
Assign all unassigned customers and prospects to an AM / PM and ensure PM Projects are set up for monitoring throughout the year.
Purchase or sell off of inventory, trucks and tooling.
Create action (get well) plans to course correct a failing business unit.
Mentor/train and/or discipline employees to improve performance, conducting quarterly check-ins.
Ensure change orders / additional quotes are generated for work done outside of project scope.
Monitor the costs and margins to identify problems throughout the life of the project, regardless of size.
Diverse customer base-including: industrial, commercial and institutional

Experience in project, quality, health, and safety management an asset.
Previous experience managing a small, highly effective team.
