We’re looking for our next Analyst, Business Unit Controls. Could It Be You?
The Analyst, Business Unit Controls will work with the Manager, Business Unit Controls by providing reporting and insights on how the Business Unit Control team is managing their stakeholders. This role will also support the effort of documenting procedures and the creation of templates, as well as identifying risks that exist within the business processes by conducting ongoing reviews.

What’s it like working as an Analyst, Business Unit Controls at Questrade?
The Analyst, Business Unit Controls requires the development of a control inventory and the creation of a testing methodology for activities that span Brokerage Operations, Digital Banking, Lending & Insurance.

This is a role that requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to identify risks that exist within business unit operating procedures.

**In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Proactively engage with functional leads to identify risks and compensating controls for their business
- Create and enhance the testing calendar based on business seasonality, volumes, etc.
- Recommend and document process improvements to mitigate risks to the business and customer procedures
- Assist with the documentation of operating procedures
- Create file hierarchies and structures to store operating procedures
- Support the ongoing maintenance of performance metrics for the Business Unit Control team
- Ensure files and materials are organized and stored in a central repository
- Consolidate testing activity outcomes and include in reporting dashboards
- Provide commentary and insights on the trends that emerge from reporting
- Assist and develop business review materials to be distributed to stakeholders.

- Have a Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years of experience in Financial Services or other regulated industry
- Advanced skill level with Google sheets
- Ability to review and assess data to summarize themes into insights
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
- Ability to assess and evaluate business risks
