Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Sales Manager at Emballage Saturn Packaging. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and building customer relationships. They will manage a portfolio of clients and generate new business opportunities through prospecting and networking. The Sales Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and management, to provide tailored solutions to customers' packaging needs.

Responsibilities

  • Key customer contact to promote various Saturn Packaging equipment
  • Find new potential business
  • Assess customer’s needs
  • Follow up with customers
  • Cold call potential customers
  • Negotiates contracts
  • Cultivates and maintains a professional and positive image
  • Work as a liaison between the customer and engineering to develop the best project solutions and the best price
  • Provide technical assistance during customer visits.
  • Participation in company trade show(s)
  • Work closely with management

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of selling capital equipment or machine/automation components (In the packaging industry or automated machinery, an asset)
  • Knowledge in automation and packaging machinery such shrink wrapping/bundling, case packing, tray packing, labeling, stretch wrapping, conveying systems, etc..
  • Proven experience in sales and account management
  • Ability to communicate in English and in French
  • Ability to interact well with clients
  • Ability to deal with diverse personalities and maintain customer relationships
  • Strong communication skills, technical sales and presentation skills
  • High motivation and drive
  • Goal-oriented mindset and ability to meet sales targets
  • Must possess a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license'
