Black Creek Investment Management Inc. (“Black Creek”), an employee-owned Toronto-based investment advisory firm specializing in the management of global equities for clients in North America, Europe, and Australia. We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join a dynamic and growing team for our downtown Toronto office.

The successful applicant will be primarily responsible for creating and coordinating distribution of investment strategy related communications, insights, and other marketing collateral. The successful applicant will also provide product level support, assist with various internal and external reporting, and help drive the digital and branding strategy of the firm.

We define success for this role as someone who can advance our objective in providing our clients with meaningful, clear, relevant, and consistent information on our firm and our strategies.

Specific key duties include but are not limited to the following:

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams to create high quality investment communications.
  • Develop and coordinate the distribution of communications through various channels such as written, video, podcasts, and conference calls etc.
  • Product Management related – collect data and insights on investment strategies; create, maintain strategy level updates, positioning points, analysis, competitor intelligence, and help respond to client investment product requests.
  • Marketing related – help with creating, updating and the development of presentations, materials, marketing collateral, and drive branding strategy.
  • Recommend and coordinate website design, updates in line with overall communication strategy.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum three years related experience ideally in areas of marketing, product management, and/or investor relations.
  • Industry experience: Financial Services/Asset Management industry experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of investment management and are passionate about learning about investments, markets.

Technical

  • Strong understanding knowledge of MS Office.
  • Nice to have – knowledge of Bloomberg, Statpro, eVestment, Morningstar Direct.
  • Familiarity with presentation and website design applications.
  • Education/designations: CFA designation an asset.
  • Language: Business English, with strong writing and comprehension skills.
  • High degree of integrity, work ethic, commitment, and professionalism.

This role is dynamic and is expected to evolve substantially over time with expanding areas of responsibilities in a team environment. Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
