A Brief Overview
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Timetable & Registration Coordinator contributes to the day-to-day operation and is responsible for the effective planning and delivery of core activities for the Commerce Program, which include but are not limited to: timetabling of more than 300 Commerce program sections; enrolment, including block enrolment, registration, wait list management, course permissions, individual project courses; course catalogue maintenance and curriculum management; sessional dates and teaching evaluation.

The incumbent is the primary contact for information flow to and from the Office of the University Registrar for the assigned core activities.

The Timetable & Registration Coordinator works closely with the Commerce Student Services staff who are responsible for academic advising, accommodation, and consideration, but will not direct or oversee the work of other staff.

The incumbent assists the Exams & Degree Coordinator and Program Administrators during peak periods and as required.This position coordinates the training of annual timetabling information sessions. This position provides support and advice on timetabling processes with departments. This position coordinates process for timetable preparation, submission, and verification by establishing academic blocks. This position creates queries and builds reports for data validation and consistency. This position also directs, allocates, and supervises the work of other staff. #J-18808-Ljbffr
