As a Business Development Executive at Generis, you will be reaching out to senior-level industry decision-makers, highlighting the value of attending our Summits and securing their participation. You will work in a team-oriented environment that is dedicated to driving exceptional sales results. Our goal is to take dedicated top performers and develop/mentor these individuals into leadership roles as our business continues to expand. On Target Earnings (OTE) within the first year- $60k – $80k ++

Work Environment: 100% in office

Hours of Operation: Monday - Thursday 8:30 - 5:00PM, Friday 8:30 - 4:30 PM

Location: Office located Downtown Toronto (Richmond & Bathurst) 555 Richmond Street West

The Individual:

  • 1+ year of experience in fast-paced settings (customer service, retail, hospitality, or sales)
  • Thrives in metrics-driven environments
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ambitious, motivated, and results-driven
  • Comfortable engaging with C-Level Executives
  • Responsive to feedback and quick to implement improvements
  • Ability to quickly learn about new industries and trends
  • Self-starter with strong entrepreneurial mindset
  • Seeks career advancement and growth opportunities

Duties and Day-To-Day:

  • Engage in outbound cold-calling with senior decision-makers in targeted industries to explore their interest in attending our business summits.
  • Consistently meet weekly, monthly, and overall campaign targets, focusing on metrics such as call volume, lead generation, and new business acquisition.
  • Responsible for generating your own leads to maintain a healthy pipeline of contacts that you can reach out to in your business development efforts.
  • Stay up to date with industry news, clients and proposition value for designated products you are supporting.
  • Participate in thorough and continuous training sessions led by your Sales Manager, collaborating closely on a daily basis to develop your expertise in sales and business knowledge
