International Business Development Executive

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our International Business Development Team at Generis, focusing on the European market and promoting our European Summits. This exciting initiative will be based in our Toronto office.

OPPORTUNITY: Join our new International Business Development Team and gain invaluable experience in global markets. You'll have the chance to sell in diverse geographies, gaining insights and exposure to international business. This role also offers the potential for global transfers, travel to European Summits, and leadership development opportunities.

**Working Hours**

Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

On Target Earnings (OTE) within the first year: 60-80K

Top Performer OTE: 100K

Work Environment: 100% in office

Location: Downtown Toronto (Richmond & Bathurst) 555 Richmond Street West

The Individual:

  • 1+ year of experience in fast-paced settings (customer service, retail, hospitality, or sales)
  • Thrives in metrics-driven environments
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ambitious, motivated, and results-driven
  • Comfortable engaging with C-Level Executives
  • Responsive to feedback and quick to implement improvements
  • Ability to quickly learn about new industries and trends
  • Self-starter with strong entrepreneurial mindset
  • Seeks career advancement and growth opportunities

Duties and Day-To-Day:

  • Engage in outbound cold-calling with senior decision-makers in targeted industries to explore their interest in attending our business summits.
  • Consistently meet weekly, monthly, and overall campaign targets, focusing on metrics such as call volume, lead generation, and new business acquisition.
  • Responsible for generating your own leads to maintain a healthy pipeline of contacts that you can reach out to in your business development efforts.
  • Stay up to date with industry news, clients and proposition value for designated products you are supporting.
  • Participate in thorough and continuous training sessions led by your Sales Manager, collaborating closely on a daily basis to develop your expertise in sales and business knowledge
