Software Sales Executive

Our client is a leading global provider of innovative solutions in the fields of automation, software engineering, and industrial communication. As part of our expansion strategy in the Canadian market, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts and drive growth.
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing our sales strategy, managing key accounts, and expanding our presence in the Canadian market. You will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and exceeding sales targets.
Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, partnering with other teams to capitalize on potential business.
Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to inform sales strategy.
Lead and mentor the sales team, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
Collaborate with marketing to develop effective sales promotions and campaigns.
Regularly report on sales performance and provide insights to senior management.
Travel to meet with clients and attend industrial show events as required.
Bachelor's degree (equivalent) or higher in Business, Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum of 8 years of sales experience in the automation products.
It is an asset that the sales experience in process control software or industrial automation technologies.
Proven track record in sales management with demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding targets.
Fluent in English; French is an asset.
Knowledge of local business practices and regulations.
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required.
