We're looking for a confident and dynamic Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team and help us to ensure our products continue to meet our excellent standards. Job Purpose:The Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs Specialist will be responsible for ensuring products meet all necessary certification requirements, Return Good Authorization (RGA) coordination, and ensuring product quality. This position manages the entire certification process, from researching requirements, completing documentation and auditing conformance. Strong communication skills and confidence are essential for this position as it is responsible for ensuring certification standards are met, creating standard operating procedures, and enforcing compliance.Key Responsibilities:Ensure new products meet certifier standards by determining requirements and communicating with the Engineering Department. Compile and submit certification documentation.Oversee warranty/Return Goods Authorization (RGA) program – ensuring appropriate corrective actions, assessing claims, and monthly reports.Design processes and documents related to applicable accreditations.Ensure continual conformance with certifier standards and customer requirements by conducting spot checks, audits, and maintenance of files.Support purchasing in dealing with suppliers to obtain material declarations.Update supplier listings and share alternatives with certifiers.Reviews and approves product bills of materials (BOM).Review and maintain product manuals for certification compliance.Maintain relationships with clients whose products have already received accreditation.Conduct root cause analyses for defects, non-conformities, or other quality failures.Assist in preparing and performing compliance and internal audits.
