The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, and implementing processes and tools to improve our testing and quality assurance capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks and scripts to ensure high-quality software releases
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize testing needs, and develop test plans and test cases to meet those needs
- Develop and maintain test data and test environments to support testing activities
- Identify and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve defects and implement fixes
- Develop and maintain testing processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency
- Collaborate with other QA teams to share knowledge and best practices, and to identify opportunities for process improvement
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automated testing and testing frameworks
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
- Experience with automated testing tools, including Selenium and Appium
- Strong understanding of testing principles and practices, including test-driven development and behavior-driven development
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud-based testing platforms and tools
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and services, including AWS and Azure
