The Job
As the Office Manager, you are essential to the efficiency of office operations and ensuring an exceptional patient experience. You will:
- Oversee daily office operations for 3 locations including clinic staff.
- Manage recruitment, training, and development of administrative, clinical, and support staff.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to staff to ensure a collaborative culture.
- Prepare and maintain staff schedules and attendance.
- Maintain inventory of office and clinic supplies.
- Handle dental office financials including budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements (HIPAA, OSHA, RCDSO, ODA) and industry standards.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices for dental clinic operations.
- Contribute to development and implementation of strategic plans for business growth and development.
- Collaborate with the executive team on initiatives for practice expansion.
- Other tasks as required.

- Proven experience managing dental office operations, ideally for multiple locations.
- Extensive experience in people management including recruitment, training, scheduling, etc.
- Experience with facility management including inventory control.
- Proficiency with managing finances for dental offices, including budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
- Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements (HIPAA, OSHA, RCDSO, ODA dental board regulations)
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Solid knowledge of dental office procedures and best practices.
- Commitment to positive patient relations and maintenance of patient records.
- Knowledge and experience with patient payment processing, verifying insurance coverage, etc.
