Treatment Program Manager

The Treatment Program Manager is responsible for oversight of the Harbour Light Addictions Treatment Program, which offers bed-based substance use treatment and recovery services for both male and female clients. The Manager provides strategic leadership, program planning and evaluation, and operational direction for the Program. The Manager is responsible for the program’s components, including but not limited to intake and discharge processes, Stabilization, Pre-Treatment, Phases 1, 2, 3 and 4, Volunteer Work Experience Program (VWEP) and the Alumni Group. Education, Qualifications and Certifications:
- A Bachelor Degree or a diploma in a related field is required.
- The Manager will be a member in good standing with a Canadian counselling certification body, holding a designation such as ICADC, RCC, RPC, or equivalent.*
- Ability to receive enhanced federal reliability status to work with federal correctional clients
- Current Certification or willingness to obtain certification in:
- First Aid/CPR
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (or equivalent)
- Mental Health First Aid
- At least two years of related management experience, preferably in a unionized environment
- At least three years of experience in recovery-focused substance use/addiction treatment services
- Comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based, trauma-informed practices in addictions treatment, the principles of recovery, and motivational interviewing
- Experience in a community care licensed facility is an asset
- Lived experience is an asset; a minimum of three (3) years of stable recovery
