Specializing in the marketing, leasing and management of purpose-built rental properties, your new employer is striving to set the bar for rental management in BC.Your New RoleThe Senior Residential Property Manager will be responsible for providing professional oversight and direction, in the management of an assigned portfolio of high end high-rise developments. Employing innovative ideas to residential property management, this role will involve leasing up the buildings and providing hospitable service to tenants. This position also entails managing a team, overseeing customer and business interactions, and executing service contracts. Leadership responsibilities involve participating in hiring, onboarding, and developing the residential operations team, maintaining the company’s high standards of care, and administering performance management. Tenant relations include fair administration of tenancy agreements, compliance with regulations, and ensuring positive tenant interactions. Property management duties encompass overseeing maintenance, conducting inspections, managing administration tasks, ensuring financial performance, executing capital improvement projects, and handling accounts receivable. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.What Sets You ApartThe ideal candidate for this position holds a degree or diploma in a related field, preferably with a commerce or business-related major. With a minimum of five years of relevant experience in high-rise residential property management, including new build lease up experience, candidates with hospitality experience are preferred but not mandatory. A valid rental management license with Real Estate Council of British Columbia (RECBC) is considered an asset. The ability to have flexible work hours, excellent customer service, and communication skills is essential for success. You will have a roll up the sleeves attitude with the ability to work independently or in a team. Strong organization, time management, and detail-oriented skills are also essential. You are also willing to travel to presentation centers and residential sites as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office application is required, and familiarity with LinkedIn, Yardi Voyager and PayScan is considered an asset.
