As the Product Manager for Content at Aviron, your primary role will be to enhance user engagement and retention through the curation and selection of compelling workout content. You will be pivotal in determining the types of content that resonate most with our users, driving higher engagement and platform utilization. Collaborating closely with various teams, you will guide the direction of our content strategy, ensuring that the workout offerings align with our overarching vision and effectively contribute to a captivating and motivational user experience. Your focus will be on identifying and integrating workout content that not only appeals to our user base but also fosters an engaging and interactive fitness journey.

This is a hybrid role, on-site 2-3 days a week in our Toronto office.

Reporting into the Senior Product Manager, the Product Manager will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

  • Drive the product and business-planning process across cross-functional teams of the company.
  • Lead the discovery process by conducting customer interviews, surveys, and data analysis.
  • Develop and iterate on customer journey maps to optimize user engagement and retention.
  • Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments.
  • Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate to-market plans.
  • Collaborate with engineering & data teams to bring features from concept to launch.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fitness industry trends and competitor offering.
  • Work collaboratively with Engineering, Marketing, Legal and UX teams on cutting-edge technologies.
  • Evaluate user engagement metrics segmented by customer persona to identify potential product enhancements and opportunities.
  • Synthesize user analytics. Benchmark data, and fitness expertise to develop tailored workout regimens for our customer base.
  • Collaborate intimately with game design teams to refine the product's aesthetic and usability, applying proven industry methodologies for optimal user experience.

  • Your communication style is both empathetic and exceedingly clear, ensuring you connect well with all stakeholders.

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working on technology-powered products, either as an associate product manager or product manager.
  • Able to work on site 2 days per week.
  • Ability to work some evening hours to collaborate with Dev team in Asia.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing.
  • Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Prior experience in the fitness industry.

Nice to have:

  • Background in UX/UI design highly preferred.
