We need a Marketing Manager to develop these ideas into products and campaigns that will bring life to our online presence, publications, and in-event communications.Who we're looking for:We need a storyteller. Whether it’s communicating our messages, promoting our events, or shining a light on our members, we need someone who has a passion for crafting a narrative and knows how to build a plan to tell our story across multiple platforms to a diverse audience. Of course, measuring our reach and effectiveness are also critical and having the skills for collecting and analyzing data to make good planning decisions are also vital.Working at the Brampton Board of Trade isn’t just a job, it’s an opportunity for you to apply all your marketing skills and people passion to make a difference in our community. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the marketing plan to increase our brand awareness and help engage our current and future members. Although you have some specific expertise you won’t be put in a box – you’ll be part of a team that works together to make things happen in a fun and fast-paced environment What You Can Do:Ensure our brand is consistently and effectively communicated Develop and manage a marketing and communications calendar Collaborate across departments to help support and develop marketing ideasWrite engaging copy for newsletters, blogs, and publications alongside subject matter expertsCreate and manage content on our social media channels and website Connect with our members to capture and tell their stories on our platformsWork with our events team to create collateral and graphicsEnsure effective and efficient delivery of campaigns that are on-time and within budgetMeasure post campaign results and develop recommendations to improve and advance future initiativesWhat You Are:Detail oriented, highly organized and able to prioritize multiple projects in fast-paced work environment with changing priorities and strict deadlinesPassionate about storytelling getting people to connect with a messageA team player, able to influence, build relationships and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholdersDigitally savvy and up to date on social media and digital trendsAn energetic, forward-thinking and creative individualWhat You Have:2-3 years of experience in marketing strategy, digital marketing, events management, graphic design and video creation/editing Post-secondary education in marketing or related fieldStrong knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe Premiere Pro/Rush or Final Cut ProExperience with digital communication and social media software, Constant Contact, Wordpress, Survey Monkey, Buffer) Excellent written and oral communication skillsExperience with Google AnalyticsProficient skills in Microsoft Office applications; namely Sharepoint, PowerPoint, ExcelPrevious experience working in a member-based organizationAccess to a vehicle and able to travel within BramptonWhy join our team?
