Business Development Manager – Mechanical Manufacturing

Calgary, AB (Home Based)

Jay Pinniger of Lock Search Group is working with Mechano Max an innovative local company poised to experience substantial business growth in a niche market. Mechano Max have developed unique solutions for the fabrication of modular, bolt-together steel stairs and platforms that are addressing safety concerns in commercial and industrial facilities throughout Canada & United States.

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with a proven track record in Sales Development, Marketing, and Project Management. This individual must be self driven and ready to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure their custom solutions are delivered on time.

Additionally, the candidate should excel in planning, coordinating, and expediting resources to meet project deadlines effectively. This position will require an individual with a business mindset and will bring excitement towards looking after new responsibilities as the business grows.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a variety of projects, encompassing both large-scale endeavors and smaller tasks.
  • Spearhead the acquisition of new business through the implementation of a LinkedIn marketing strategy and direct sales efforts.
  • Establishing a track record of reliability and achievement while working autonomously from a home-based office setting.
  • Utilize your expertise in Microsoft Office, LinkedIn, and other business applications to enhance operational efficiency and streamline processes.
  • Proficiently negotiating and managing intricate sales agreements and contracts.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate a successful history in Sales and Project Management, ideally within Commercial, Industrial, and/or Institutional sectors.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication, including in-person meetings, phone calls, and email correspondence.
  • Ability to cultivate productive relationships with both customers and team members through strong interpersonal skills.
  • Aptitude in problem-solving to devise and implement innovative solutions for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Successful utilization and familiarity with LinkedIn and other business applications.
  • Competency in using Microsoft Office Suite tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in managing conflicts to reach amicable resolutions.
