We specialize in providing medications for patients with chronic and complex medical conditions, such as HIV, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, and more. We are looking for a Pharmacy Office Administrator to join our Rx Connect Specialty Pharmacy team in Mississauga. Reporting to the team lead/manager , the Pharmacy Office Admin will be primarily responsible for managing administrative tasks and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy office. Your duties will include handling inquiries, managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers, and providing clerical support to pharmacy staff.
Assist pharmacy team with administrative duties as requested
Handle phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication in a professional and courteous manner.
Maintain accurate data in pharmacy files and computer drives
Orders, receives and maintains office supplies
Maintain pharmacy records, AR accounts, billing, Invoicing, emergency line
Monitor inventory levels and place orders for medications and supplies as needed.
Assist in training new staff members on office procedures and protocols.
Additional certification or training in office administration or pharmacy practices is an asset.
Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and pharmacy management software.
Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices is preferred.
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry.
