Account Manager – Food Service

Calgary, AB

Lock Search Group is pleased to present an exciting opportunity to join a Tier 1 industry-leading organization. Our client is seeking an experienced Account Manager specializing in Food Service to join their dynamic team in Calgary, Alberta . As the Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling their product line while building strong business relationships with their clients. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive sales of product lines, including national brands and private labels, in the food service sector.
  • Develop and execute business and sales plans with the team.
  • Support regional teams for maximum effectiveness.
  • Analyze market studies to identify growth opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts aligning with company objectives.
  • Monitor budgets and conduct sales reviews for improvement.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure company commitments are met.
  • Manage category performance and introduce new products.
  • Conduct training sessions and participate in relevant events within the territory.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Combination of education / experience may be considered)
  • 3+ years of proven sales/ key account management experience, meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AS400, and Power BI.
  • Strong communication, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent analytical and financial abilities to drive informed decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure.
  • Demonstrated dynamism, team spirit, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel 3-4 days per month.
