TST-CF Express is Canada's leading provider of time sensitive, less than truckload (LTL) North American transportation services. We are currently looking for an Account Manager to join our team in Calgary, AB
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this position involves managing and growing a defined territory of accounts to surpass corporate revenue and objectives. The successful candidate will use solution selling expertise and strong communication/presentation skills to develop and manage new and existing customer relationships within the territory.
Job Responsibilities:
- Present and promote the benefits of TST-CF Express in order to secure freight.
- Identify and solicit new customers.
- Expanding existing business within in region
- Make outbound follow-up calls to existing clients via telephone and email cross-sell and up-sell
- Present pricing, rate quotes, and credit terms to customers.
- Consult with client, operations staff and customer care to provide superior service to new and existing customers.
- Review and communicate information regarding service offerings, competitors and market conditions.
- Performing all other tasks associated with the sales function and other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management.
- Two to three years of direct work experience in a sale or tele sales capacity
- Post -secondary education in a related field
- Experience in the transportation industry is preferred.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Strong relationship building and negotiation skills.
- Excellent time management and organization skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
