We are currently seeking a dynamic people leader to join our team as Regional Director in Fredericton N.B.Reporting to the Vice President of Strategic Development, the Regional Director oversees operations and service delivery in the Fredericton-Woodstock areas. The Regional Director works collaboratively with the Executive Leadership Team, the Regional Director Team, and the Human Resource Team to ensure clinical and administrative outcomes are met. The Regional Director plays a pivotal role in leading and empowering a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to children and families affected by autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This position requires a strong focus on team leadership, collaboration, oversight, along with a calm disposition to ensure the delivery of high-quality services that positively impact our clients' lives. The Fredericton region consists of approximately 120 employees and serves a growing number of +250 children and their families. The main location for this position is in Fredericton, NB, however travel to our satellite office in Woodstock is required. Working hours are Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm. This includes:Leading People · Establishing a connected workplace that fosters a sense of belonging. · Ensuring the health, safety, and wellness of all employees through the implementation of the Health and Safety Program, and activities resulting from employee feedback.· Ensuring clear, well established communication channels where employees have an opportunity to provide feedback.· Leading and managing change.Meeting Contractual Outcomes and Implementing Service Standards· Using VIVA’s systems and technology to monitor, meet, and report on contractual and clinical monitoring outcomes. · Collaborating closely with the Executive Leadership Team and Human Resources Team to carry out the organization's goals and objectives while meeting the day-to-day operational needs of the region.Workload Management· Overseeing and supporting the life cycle of clients in our program (e.g., manage new referrals, assignment of clients, school transition, termination of services, etc.).· Overseeing and supporting the life cycle of regional employees (orientation, onboarding, performance management, growth, and development). · Monitoring, managing regional staffing complement based on approved budgeted positions. Collaboration and Partnership · Engaging with regional partners to promote collaborative practices (Early Learning Centres for Children (ELCC), schools, Early Childhood Services).· Providing guidance and support to teams regarding caregiver engagement and conflict resolution.Qualifications and Requirements: Although we provide a clinical service, the Regional Director does not require direct education/experience in the field. We are looking for a professional who can lead a high functioning team that delivers quality service to families and meets our contractual outcome measures. Education and Experience· A master’s degree in business administration, psychology, speech-language pathology, education, occupational therapy and/or applied behaviour analysis.· An equivalent combination of education, skills and experience may be considered.· Proven track record of creating and leading high-performing teams in healthcare, education, or related fields.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills; written and spoken competency in French and English is an asset.· A clear criminal record check, vulnerable sector check, and Social Development screening within the past five years. · Valid Driver’s license and access to a vehicle as travel is required.Skills· Adept and competent with technology and software applications including: Microsoft Office Suite and 365, data dashboard tools, manipulation of spreadsheets.· Strong ability to predict, mitigate, and move on from interpersonal conflict.· Strong ability to analyze complex issues, anticipate future trends, and develop innovative solutions.
