AFIMAC Canada is seeking an experienced Payroll Coordinator/Human Resource Assistant for an upcoming permanent assignment in Southwestern Ontario. Process and manage the full cycle bi-weekly payroll.
# Act as primary payroll contact for all employees and Service Canada/government bodies.
# Utilize HRIS and payroll software to maintain accurate records and streamline processes.
# Assist in the resolution of employee relations issues by working closely with other HR team members.
# Complete WSIB monthly premium reporting, year-end audit requirements, and process T4 information.
# Support HR initiatives and projects as assigned.
# Ensure organization's compliance with payroll regulations and labour laws.
# Generate and analyze HR and payroll reports for management review.
# Assist with full cycle recruitment.
# Minimum 2 years experience in a Human Resources Payroll Coordinator role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
Strong Computer Skills (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
High proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
