Corporate Services – Facilities Management /

We are looking to hire a Student Office Assistant to join the Facilities Management team. This role is responsible for delivering administrative support tasks relating to locksmith shop record keeping and campus re-key activities.

This position will complete data entry and digitize the locksmith’s paper records and complete a records audit on similar systems within the Electronic Security and Locksmith scopes of work.

This is a SAIT Student Opportunity.

The Role
  • Consolidate and verify individual records during rekey project
  • Validate and correct records with end users
  • Complete some public facing customer service
  • Obtain end user agreement document and signatures
  • GFMS System Maintenance - 30%
  • Assist with provisioning new keys within the GFMS Boxes
  • Validate end user accounts and assigned assets
  • Participate in end user audit
  • Participate in device inventory registry - 20%
  • Consolidate and enter asset data into system of record for Electronic Security devices and mechanically keyed assets.
