Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Pediatric medical office, providing excellent patient care, and administrative functions. This position requires effective communication skills, excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors Manage multi-line phone systems, handling incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy. Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records, ensuring all information is up-to-date. Assist with clerical tasks including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized documentation. Support billing process Collaborate with vendors for office supplies and services, ensuring efficient vendor management. Support staff obtaining patient measurements. Requirements Previous experience in a medical office setting is essential. Experience with TELUS PS is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and staff clearly. Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus. Experience in clerical or administrative roles that involve filing and record management. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Proficiency in team management techniques to guide and develop junior staff members effectively. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00-$28.00 per hour Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week Benefits: On-site parking Work Location: In person
