**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and address inquiries.
- Maintain patient records by accurately entering information into electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Telus PSS.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Coordinate patient flow within the office to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Provide support to medical staff as needed during patient visits.
- Ensure the front desk area is organized and welcoming for patients.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly Telus PSS.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication within the healthcare environment.
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a medical office setting is highly desirable.
- Experience in a medical office environment is beneficial for understanding operational procedures.
- Familiarity with office management tasks and administrative duties is essential.
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate patient records.
