The successful candidate will be an essential member of the Workplace Solutions Team. They are responsible for supporting sales and managing and coordinating a marketplace within our business to ensure an efficient, effective and positive experience for the customers (advisors) in that market. This individual will need to work in concert with others on the team in the delivery of our “Humanizing Benefits” approach in support of our advisors. This dynamic position requires a self-starting, adaptive, versatile person with effective communication skills who is interested in pushing beyond their accustomed comfort zone as we work to navigate and deliver a complex array of traditional, innovative and disruptive plans and programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Adopting a clear understanding of our Humanizing Benefits story;
- Delivering gratifying Humanizing Benefits experiences in all interactions with stakeholders;
- Adopting a firm understanding of how IDC WIN Workplace Solutions works, our business models, and our differentiators;
- Collaborating with the Business Development team to support new advisor recruitment;
- Understanding the suppliers we work with and their added value;
- Learning and maintaining working knowledge of the wide range of products and services we deliver;
- Maintaining advisor and carrier working relationships (Workplace Solutions) in collaboration with the Business Development team;
- Supporting advisors with: RTQ’s for group savings plans, implementation of group savings plans for clients, reporting on group savings plans for advisors and their clients
- Supporting advisors with training related to certain aspects of the Workplace Solutions offering, services and products that we distribute;
- Supporting advisors with certain IDC WIN business tools;
- Adopting a team-oriented approach while working with the Workplace Solutions Sales and Service Support team;
- Providing input and feedback on processes, documents and tools that IDC WIN develops and deploys as we continue to build the Workplace Solutions Division;
- Supporting the ongoing creation, development and maintenance of tools and processes for best practices in IDC WIN’s Workplace Solutions business; and
- Assisting with special projects and renewal and sales work processes as required.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- University degree or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working with advisors and group savings clients –
- Life Insurance licensed or willing to get licensed
- Working knowledge of CAP guidelines is an asset
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to multitask and process in a timely manner to meet deadlines
- Organized with the ability to prioritize workload
- Strong problem-solving abilities
