Process Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Process Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of process engineering principles and a proven track record in delivering high-quality packages for industrial projects.
1. Project Management:
- Lead and manage FEED projects, Detailed Engineering design, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning & Start Up activities.
- Ensure projects meet quality standards, budget, and timelines.
2. Process Engineering:
- Conduct process simulations and feasibility studies to evaluate process alternatives and optimize design configurations using software such as Aspen HYSYS.
- Develop and perform detailed process engineering calculations including heat and material balances, hydraulic analysis, equipment, line, instrumentation sizing, and PSV calculations.
3. Safety and Regulatory Compliance:
- Apply strong understanding of process safety principles and regulatory requirements.
- Perform risk assessments and HAZOP studies to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of Industry Code and regulatory standards pertaining to the Oil and Gas Industry.
4. Documentation and Standards:
- Prepare comprehensive process documentation, including BFD, PFD, PID, Tie-ins, DPT, MSD, LDT, and process control philosophies.
- Ensure familiarity and compliance with engineering standards and codes relevant to FEED projects.
5. Economic and Cost Analysis:
- Develop Economic Cost Benefit Analysis, CAPEX/OPEX Estimation models.
- Evaluate and optimize design configurations from a cost perspective.
6. Design and Innovation:
- Develop innovative process solutions and apply industry best practices to optimize design outcomes.
- Utilize engineering design tools such as AutoCAD and Bluebeam Revu for detailed engineering design.
7. Communication and Collaboration:
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effectively collaborate with diverse project teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
8. Professional Development:
- Maintain a PEng designation; a Master's degree in chemical engineering or a related field is desirable.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices to continuously improve project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years EPCM experience in a process engineering role with oil and gas facilities in North America with experience on FEED projects, Detailed Engineering design, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning & Start Up
- 2. Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related field; PEng Designation required. Master's degree is a plus.
