Description

As the Digital Marketing Manager for Effect Hope, you will spearhead the development and execution of a comprehensive digital marketing and engagement strategy to increase awareness of Effect Hope and grow brand engagement using social media, email marketing, paid media, web, blog and other forms of current and future digital platforms. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and manage external vendors to create and maintain digital marketing campaigns and play a key role in promoting our brand across digital channels to raise the profile of Effect Hope and increase our constituency.

In this dynamic position, you’ll lead the charge in developing and implementing digital marketing and engagement strategies contributing significantly to Effect Hope’s mission to combat neglected tropical diseases. Your expertise, results orientation and desire to see mission growth will be key to your success.

What You Bring to the Role

  • A post-secondary education or equivalent combination of education and experience in marketing.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a digital marketing-focused role.
  • Prior experience in managing digital and social media campaigns from ideation through to post campaign reporting.
  • Specific demonstrable experience in:
    • CMS, including WordPress
    • Google Analytics (GA4), Tag Manager and Google Ads
    • Paid media execution (Social, Google Display etc.)
    • Email marketing platforms (Mailchimp an asset)
    • SEO best practices
    • Digital content creation (social media, web, blog, email etc.). Experience with digital content production (video/graphics) an asset.
  • Proven ability to work well independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to understand big picture strategy and effectively communicate strategic goals to direct reports and colleagues.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects under tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to travel for work periodically within Canada and occasionally overseas.
  • Passion for Effect Hope’s calling and mission with the motivation to see our mission accomplished. Willing to commit to Effect Hope’s mission and values.
  • Prior experience with fundraising or working with / for a non-profit organization.

PREFERRED

  • Previous management/supervisory experience an asset.
  • Experience with an international development focus non-profit an asset.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft 365 applications for personal productivity and collaboration.
  • Experience with the Raiser’s Edge NXT database platform.
  • Experience with platforms such as Divi Theme builder, FundraiseUp, WooCommerce, and Zapier.
  • Experience with HTML and CSS.
